The 2017 National Jamboree is days away. For the 40,000+ Scouts who are lucky enough to participate, it will be the experience of a lifetime. For friends and parents at home, however, the next best thing is available right on your laptop, phone, tablet, or another device. 

No other Jamboree has been this easy to access from home. Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, and more are available to follow along with your favorite troop. So, for those of you wishing you were in West Virginia, here are the best ways to experience Jamboree from the comfort of your home. 

Blogs and websites

  • The Voice of Scouting blog: Check in here for stories about what’s happening at Jamboree. We are excited to share our stories and photos on this blog and our Facebook page. 
  • BSA Flickr: Experience the 2017 National Jamboree in photos on the BSA’s official Flickr page.
  • The Summit: Jamboree staff is working hard to continuously update The Summit’s official website with information, photos, and videos.

Snapchat is a great way to watch the 2017 Jambo unfold in funny, short video clips and photos. To follow along through Snapchat, find your local council and add them as a friend. Then, sit back and enjoy the snaps of the Jamboree adventure.
