Join me as an ambassador for Scouting today! To get started, post your colors at PostYourColors.org by dragging the blue flag over your state.  It was fun to be 749th Scouter to drag the blue flag to my home town and it only took a couple of minutes to fill out my profile to get started.

Like me, each person who “Posts” their colors, will become a Scouting Ambassador from July 5–23. Each time after any ambassador shares something on social media, using LinkedIn, Facebook,Instagram, email and Twitter,  they’ll get points for prizes. What prizes you ask? How about:

  • Trip to the high adventure base of your choice
  • Alumni memberships
  • Scoutstuff.org gift cards

Remember after you visit PostYourColors.org, come back frequently to check in on the campaign progress and share! Each time you share, points are earned for prizes. Share your enthusiasm and post Scouting stories on social media to inspire others. Post Your Colors ResourcesIf you are not sure how, campaign managers have a social media toolkit with ideas, sample posts, and images you can use to share about the campaign. It includes tips, tricks, and even sample posts that make it easy for you to post on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. In some cases, all you need to do is simply copy/paste the sample posts that have been pre-written for you, add the correct hyperlink, and press publish to your social channels.
